The material used is not the same quality as a hand carved craft. I also purchased a hand carved craft and the quality of the material was real wood with the same detail.

Description
Seal of American Samoa Laser Etched Wall Art
The fly switch (fue) represents wisdom and the staff (To'oto'o) represents authority. Both symbols are used by talking chiefs indicating their rank. The Tanoa (kava bowl) represents service to the chief.
The tapa clothed background represents the artistry of the Samoan people. It also includes the date April 17, 1900, which was the date when the flag of American Samoa was officially adopted
Laser cut and engraved from 3/16" (5mm) UV Coated Premium Maple Wood.
Layered with an offset of 3/16" (5mm) UV Coated Maple Premium Wood with a hole for hanging.
No Hardware needed.

NOTE: Due to the nature of wood, no two pieces are the same. Finished product may be darker or lighter than photo.
