It can hold layered sections of sewing projects such as handle connectors to handbags and piping without distortion. Holds quilt binding while sewing, and it's easy to see and easy to find when dropped on the floor! Works well with sergers. Great holding capacity, opens wide to hold many layers. 

Clips have seam allowance markings (3/16in/5mm, 1/4in/7mm, 3/8in/10mm).
